Throughout their career, The Doobie Brothers have released numerous hit songs, including "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," "China Grove," and "What a Fool Believes," which won a Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1980. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Johnston, Simmons, and McDonald being the most notable lead vocalists. The Doobie Brothers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
