Artist Bio:
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California. The group consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They were known for their unique blend of rock, blues, and psychedelic music, as well as Morrison's poetic and often controversial lyrics.

The Doors achieved significant commercial success with hits such as "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To the Other Side)," and "Riders on the Storm." However, they also faced criticism and controversy due to Morrison's unpredictable behavior and provocative performances. The band's career was cut short by Morrison's death in 1971, but their music continues to be celebrated and influential in the rock genre.
