Artist Bio:
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles. The band consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They were known for their unique sound, which combined elements of rock, blues, and psychedelic music. The Doors achieved significant commercial success with hits such as "Light My Fire," "Break on Through (To the Other Side)," and "Riders on the Storm."

The band was also known for their controversial and provocative lyrics, as well as Morrison's charismatic and unpredictable stage persona. The Doors released a total of nine studio albums before Morrison's death in 1971. Despite their relatively short career, The Doors have had a lasting impact on rock music and are considered one of the most influential bands of the 1960s.
