The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles. The band consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They are considered one of the most influential and controversial rock acts of the 1960s, known for their eclectic sound, poetic lyrics, and Morrison's charismatic stage presence.
The Doors achieved major commercial success with hits like "Light My Fire," "Hello, I Love You," and "Riders on the Storm." Their self-titled debut album, released in 1967, is considered one of the greatest albums of all time.
