Artist Bio:
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California. The band consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They are considered one of the most influential and controversial rock acts of the 1960s, known for their unique blend of rock, blues, and psychedelic music. The Doors achieved significant commercial success with hits like "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To the Other Side)," and "Riders on the Storm."

Jim Morrison, the lead singer, was known for his charismatic stage presence and poetic lyrics, but also for his unpredictable behavior and substance abuse issues. The band's music and Morrison's enigmatic persona contributed to their iconic status in rock music history. The Doors disbanded in 1973 following Morrison's death, but their music continues to be celebrated and influential in the rock genre.
