Artist Bio:
The Drifters are a famous American R&B and doo-wop group that was formed in 1953. They were originally created to serve as a backing group for Clyde McPhatter, who was the lead singer at the time. The group has undergone many lineup changes over the years, with over 60 different members being a part of the group at various points in its history. Despite these changes, The Drifters have managed to maintain their popularity and success, with many of their songs becoming timeless classics.

The Drifters are known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound, with hits such as "Under the Boardwalk," "Save the Last Dance for Me," and "There Goes My Baby." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and are considered one of the most successful vocal groups in the history of popular music.
