Artist Bio:
The Drifters are an American R&B vocal group that was formed in 1953. They were originally created to serve as a backing group for Clyde McPhatter, a former member of Billy Ward and His Dominoes. The group's early hits include "Money Honey" and "Such a Night," which helped establish their popularity in the music industry.

Throughout their career, The Drifters experienced numerous lineup changes, with over 60 different members being part of the group at various times. Despite these changes, The Drifters continued to produce hit songs, such as "Save the Last Dance for Me" and "Under the Boardwalk." They are considered one of the most successful vocal groups of the early 1960s and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 for their contribution to music.
