Artist Bio:
The Drifters are an American doo-wop and R&B vocal group formed in 1953. They were originally created to serve as Clyde McPhatter's backing group after he left The Dominoes. The group has undergone numerous lineup changes over the years, with over 60 different singers having performed as part of The Drifters.


The Drifters are best known for their string of hits in the 1950s and 1960s, including songs like "Save the Last Dance for Me," "Under the Boardwalk," and "This Magic Moment." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and their music continues to be celebrated for its smooth harmonies and soulful sound.
