Artist Bio:
The Drifters are an American R&B and doo-wop group formed in 1953. They were originally created as a backing group for Clyde McPhatter, but soon emerged as a successful act in their own right. The group underwent numerous lineup changes over the years, with over 60 different members being part of The Drifters at various points in time.

The Drifters are known for their hits such as "Under the Boardwalk," "Save the Last Dance for Me," and "Up on the Roof." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. The group's smooth vocal harmonies and soulful sound have had a lasting impact on the music industry, influencing many artists that came after them.
