Artist Bio:
The Duprees are a doo-wop group that was formed in the early 1960s in Jersey City, New Jersey. Their signature sound includes harmonies and romantic ballads. The group's original members were Joey Canzano, Mike Arnone, Joe Santollo, John Salvato, and Tom Bialoglow. They are best known for their hit songs such as "You Belong to Me" and "My Own True Love."

Joey Vann, whose real name was Joseph Canzano, was the lead singer of The Duprees. His smooth and soulful vocals were a key element in the group's success. Vann's voice was featured prominently in many of The Duprees' most popular songs. Tragically, Joey Vann passed away in 1984 at the age of 40, but his legacy lives on through The Duprees' timeless music.
