The Ebonys were an American soul vocal group formed in Camden, New Jersey in the late 1960s. The group consisted of three members: David Beasley, James Tuten, and Clarence Vaughn. They were known for their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads, and became popular in the 1970s with hits like "It's Forever" and "You're the Reason Why." Their music was characterized by lush orchestration and heartfelt lyrics, which resonated with R&B and soul music fans.

The Ebonys released several albums throughout the 1970s on the Philadelphia International Records label, including their self-titled debut album in 1973. Despite not achieving mainstream success on the level of some of their labelmates, The Ebonys are still remembered as a talented vocal group with a dedicated fan base. Their music continues to be celebrated by soul music aficionados and collectors of classic R&B.
