The Emotions are an American Grammy Award-winning soul/R&B vocal group formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1968. The group originally consisted of three sisters: Wanda Hutchinson, Sheila Hutchinson, and Jeanette Hutchinson. They gained mainstream success in the 1970s with hits such as "Best of My Love" and "Boogie Wonderland."


Their biggest hit, "Best of My Love," won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group in 1978. The Emotions have released multiple albums throughout their career and have continued to perform and record music over the years. They are considered one of the pioneering female groups in the R&B genre and have left a lasting impact on the music industry with their soulful vocals and harmonies.
