Artist Bio:
The Enchanters were an American doo-wop group from New York City in the 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Richard Barrett, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Blunt, and John Carlos. They were known for their smooth harmonies and soulful vocal delivery, which helped them gain popularity in the doo-wop music scene.

The Enchanters had a hit single in 1957 with "I Wanna Thank You," which peaked at number 16 on the R&B charts. They also released other songs such as "I Paid for the Party" and "Tired of Dreaming." Despite their talent and success, The Enchanters did not achieve the same level of mainstream recognition as some of their contemporaries. Nevertheless, they remain an important part of doo-wop music history and continue to be celebrated by fans of the genre.
