Artist Bio:
The Escape Club is a British pop rock band formed in London in 1983. The band is best known for their hit single "Wild, Wild West," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1988. The song also earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
The Escape Club released three studio albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s before disbanding in the mid-1990s. In addition to "Wild, Wild West," the band had other charting singles such as "Shake for the Sheik" and "I'll Be There." Although they did not achieve the same level of success as with "Wild, Wild West," The Escape Club remains a notable band from the late 1980s music scene.
