Artist Bio:
The Everly Brothers were an American country-influenced rock and roll duo, consisting of brothers Don Everly (born February 1, 1937) and Phil Everly (born January 19, 1939). They were known for their close harmony singing and were one of the most influential acts in the history of rock music. The duo had a string of hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s, including "Bye Bye Love," "Wake Up Little Susie," and "All I Have to Do Is Dream."

Their music had a major impact on the development of rock and roll and country music. The Everly Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001. Despite their success, the brothers had a tumultuous relationship and went through periods of estrangement. Phil Everly passed away on January 3, 2014, but their music continues to be celebrated and influence generations of musicians.
