The Everly Brothers were an American country-influenced rock and roll duo, consisting of brothers Don Everly (born February 1, 1937) and Phil Everly (born January 19, 1939). They were known for their close harmony singing and catchy melodies, which helped them achieve great success in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The duo was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
The Everly Brothers had a string of hits, including "Bye Bye Love," "Wake Up Little Susie," "All I Have to Do Is Dream," and "Cathy's Clown."
