Artist Bio:
The Fireballs were an American rock and roll group, formed in Raton, New Mexico in 1958. The band's original lineup consisted of George Tomsco (lead guitar), Chuck Tharp (vocals), Stan Lark (bass), Eric Budd (drums), and Dan Trammell (rhythm guitar). They are best known for their instrumental hits "Torquay" and "Bulldog," which both reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the early 1960s.

The Fireballs were pioneers of the Tex-Mex rock sound, blending elements of rock and roll with a touch of country and Latin influences. Their music was characterized by catchy melodies, twangy guitar riffs, and a lively, danceable rhythm. The Fireballs continued to release music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, achieving moderate success with songs like "Sugar Shack" and "Bottle of Wine." They were inducted into the West Texas Music Hall of Fame in 1997, recognizing their contribution to the rock and roll genre.
