Artist Bio:
The Five Americans were a rock band formed in Durant, Oklahoma in the 1960s. The band's original lineup consisted of Mike Rabon, John Durrill, Norman Ezell, Jim Grant, and Jimmy Wright. They are best known for their hit song "Western Union" which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1967. The song's success led to appearances on popular music television shows such as American Bandstand.

The Five Americans released several albums during their career, including "I See the Light" and "Now and Then". They were known for their catchy melodies, harmonies, and energetic live performances. While they did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some of their contemporaries, The Five Americans remain a beloved part of 1960s rock music history.
