Artist Bio:
The Five Stairsteps were an American family group from Chicago that formed in 1965. The group consisted of five siblings: Alohe Jean, Clarence Jr., James, Dennis, and Kenneth Burke. They were known for their soulful harmonies and were one of the first groups to achieve success in the early 1970s with their hit songs like "O-o-h Child" and "You Waited Too Long."

The Five Stairsteps were considered pioneers of soul music and were often compared to other popular groups of the time such as The Jackson 5. They were active in the music industry for over a decade, releasing several albums and singles before disbanding in the late 1970s. Despite their relatively short career, The Five Stairsteps made a lasting impact on the music scene and are remembered as one of the influential soul groups of their era.
