Artist Bio:
The Fleetwoods were an American singing group formed in 1958 in Olympia, Washington. The group consisted of Gary Troxel, Gretchen Christopher, and Barbara Ellis. They are best known for their hit songs "Come Softly to Me" and "Mr. Blue," both of which reached the top of the charts in the late 1950s.

"Come Softly to Me," released in 1959, was their first single and became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is known for its unique vocal harmonies and was a significant influence on the doo-wop genre. The Fleetwoods continued to release music throughout the 1960s, with moderate success, before disbanding in 1963. Despite their relatively short career, The Fleetwoods left a lasting impact on the music industry with their distinctive vocal style and romantic ballads.
