The Frantics were a Canadian sketch comedy group formed in 1983 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The group consisted of members Paul Chato, Rick Green, Dan Redican, and Peter Wildman. They became known for their fast-paced, satirical sketches and radio shows that often featured wordplay, puns, and absurd humor.
The Frantics gained popularity with their radio series "Frantic Times," which aired on CBC Radio in the 1980s. They also released several comedy albums and made appearances on television shows such as "The Frantics Four on the Floor" and "Four on the Floor Live." The group disbanded in the early 1990s but their comedic legacy continues to be celebrated by fans of Canadian comedy.
