The Furys were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Miami, Florida. The band's original lineup consisted of three siblings: Jay "The Bird" Schreiber on guitar and vocals, Al Schreiber on bass, and Mark Schreiber on drums. They were known for their energetic live performances and catchy rock tunes, drawing influences from bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. The Furys released several singles in the mid-1960s, including "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart" and "I'm Satisfied with You".
Despite their local popularity and critical acclaim, The Furys never achieved mainstream success and disbanded in the late 1960s. However, their music has since gained a cult following among fans of 1960s garage rock and is still remembered as a part of the vibrant music scene of the era.
