Artist Bio:
The G-Clefs were an American doo-wop group formed in Roxbury, Massachusetts, in the late 1950s. The group consisted of five brothers: Teddy Scott, Chris Scott, Tim Scott, Arnold Scott, and Gerard Scott. They were known for their tight harmonies and energetic stage performances, blending doo-wop, R&B, and pop influences in their music.
One of their most famous songs was "I Understand (Just How You Feel)," which reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961. The G-Clefs continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s, but did not achieve the same level of commercial success as their early years. They were inducted into the Doo-Wop Hall of Fame of America in 2006, recognizing their contribution to the doo-wop music genre.
