Artist Bio:
The Gentrys were an American band from Memphis, Tennessee, known for their hit single "Keep on Dancing" released in 1965. The band was formed in 1963 and originally consisted of members Larry Raspberry, Larry Wall, Jimmy Hart, and Pat Neal. They gained popularity in the mid-1960s with their energetic and catchy sound, which blended elements of rock and roll, pop, and R&B.

"Keep on Dancing" was their most successful single, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Gentrys continued to release music throughout the 1960s but never achieved the same level of success as they did with their signature hit. Despite their relatively short-lived mainstream success, The Gentrys remain a notable part of the music scene of the 1960s, known for their infectious sound and memorable hit single.
