The Georgia Satellites are an American southern rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1980. The band was originally composed of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dan Baird, lead guitarist Rick Richards, bassist Rick Price, and drummer Mauro Magellan. They are best known for their hit single "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986.
The Georgia Satellites gained popularity in the 1980s with their energetic performances and gritty rock sound influenced by bands like The Rolling Stones and AC/DC.
