Artist Bio:
The Gestures were a 1960s American rock band from Mankato, Minnesota. They are best known for their hit single "Run, Run, Run," which was released in 1964 and peaked at #44 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band consisted of Dale Menten on vocals and guitar, Tom Klugherz on drums, Larry Wiegand on bass, and Wally Kempton on guitar.
After the success of "Run, Run, Run," The Gestures released a few more singles but were unable to replicate the same level of success. They disbanded in the late 1960s, with some members going on to join other musical projects. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The Gestures left a lasting impact on the music scene of the 1960s, with "Run, Run, Run" becoming a classic rock anthem.
