The Guess Who is a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg in 1965. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Chad Allan, guitarist Randy Bachman, keyboardist Bob Ashley, bassist Jim Kale, and drummer Garry Peterson. Over the years, the band underwent multiple lineup changes, with Burton Cummings eventually taking over as lead vocalist in 1966.

The Guess Who achieved commercial success in the late 1960s and early 1970s with hits such as "American Woman," "No Time," and "These Eyes." They are considered one of the first Canadian rock bands to have success in the United States, paving the way for future Canadian artists. The band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1987 and continues to tour and perform to this day with a lineup that includes original member Garry Peterson.
