The Hollies are a British rock band formed in 1962 in Manchester, England. The band achieved commercial success in the 1960s and 1970s with their distinctive three-part vocal harmonies and a mix of pop and rock music. The original members of the band included Allan Clarke, Graham Nash, Tony Hicks, Bobby Elliott, and Eric Haydock, with various lineup changes over the years.


The Hollies had numerous hit singles, including "Just One Look," "Bus Stop," "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," and "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 and have sold over 60 million records worldwide. The band's music is characterized by catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and a blend of rock and pop influences, making them one of the most successful and enduring bands of the British Invasion era.
