Artist Bio:
The Honeycombs were a British rock band formed in 1963 in London. They are best known for their hit single "Have I the Right?" which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1964 and also made it to the top 5 in the United States. The band was unique for featuring a female drummer, Honey Lantree, who was one of the few female drummers in rock music at the time.
The Honeycombs released several other singles, including "That's the Way" and "Is It Because?" but were unable to replicate the success of their debut hit. The band disbanded in 1967 after a few years of moderate success. Despite their short-lived career, The Honeycombs remain a notable part of the British Invasion era of music in the 1960s.
