Artist Bio:
The Honeydrippers were a rock and roll band formed in 1984 by rock legends Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Nile Rodgers. The group's sound was heavily influenced by the rhythm and blues music of the 1950s and 1960s. Their most well-known song is a cover of the 1957 song "Sea of Love," which was a major hit in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The Honeydrippers released only one EP, titled "The Honeydrippers: Volume One," which was well-received by both fans and critics. The band's short-lived career was marked by their successful fusion of rock and roll with rhythm and blues, as well as their ability to attract top talent from the music industry to collaborate on their recordings.
