Artist Bio:
The Hues Corporation was an American pop and soul trio formed in Santa Monica, California in the 1960s. The group consisted of St. Clair Lee, Fleming Williams, and Hubert Ann Kelly. They are best known for their 1974 hit song "Rock the Boat," which reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also received a gold certification and became a disco classic.

The Hues Corporation released several albums throughout the 1970s, including "Freedom for the Stallion" and "Love Corporation." They were known for their catchy melodies, harmonious vocals, and energetic live performances. Despite their success with "Rock the Boat," the group did not achieve the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases. The Hues Corporation continued to perform and record music into the 1980s, leaving behind a legacy as one of the notable groups in the disco and soul music genres.
