Artist Bio:
The Hues Corporation was an American pop and soul group formed in Santa Monica, California in the 1960s. The group consisted of singer Fleming Williams, St. Clair Lee, and Hubert Ann Kelly. They are best known for their 1974 hit single "Rock the Boat," which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also reached the top five on the R&B charts and has since become a classic of the disco era.
The Hues Corporation released several albums throughout the 1970s, including "Freedom for the Stallion" and "Love Corporation." While they never replicated the success of "Rock the Boat," the group continued to perform and record music until the early 1980s. Their music has been featured in various films and television shows, solidifying their place in pop music history.
