Artist Bio:
The Ides of March is an American rock band that was formed in 1964 in Chicago. The band is best known for their 1970 hit single "Vehicle," which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song features a distinctive brass section that became a signature element of the band's sound. The Ides of March initially disbanded in 1973 but reunited in the late 1990s and have continued to perform and record music since then.

The band's original lineup included lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Peterik, saxophonist and vocalist Larry Millas, trumpet player and vocalist Chuck Soumar, drummer Mike Borch, bassist Bob Bergland, and keyboardist Bob Abrams. Over the years, the band has undergone some lineup changes, but Peterik has remained a constant member. The Ides of March have released several albums throughout their career and have continued to tour and perform live for their dedicated fan base.
