Artist Bio:
The Ides of March is an American rock band that was formed in 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. The band is best known for their 1970 hit single "Vehicle," which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song features lead singer Jim Peterik's distinctive vocals and a horn section that became a signature element of the band's sound.

In addition to "Vehicle," The Ides of March released several other albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including "Common Bond" and "World Woven." The band went through various lineup changes over the years, with Peterik being the only constant member. Despite not achieving the same level of commercial success as with "Vehicle," The Ides of March continued to perform and release music, and they are considered one of the pioneering bands of the jazz-rock genre.
