Artist Bio:
The Innocence was a pop group formed in the early 1970s in the United States. The band consisted of members Michael Kamen, Trevor Veitch, and Michael Brown. They gained popularity with their hit single "There's Got to Be a Word!" in 1966, which reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Innocence was known for their catchy melodies and harmonies that captured the essence of the 1960s pop music scene.


Despite their initial success, The Innocence disbanded in the late 1960s. Michael Brown went on to join the band Stories, known for their hit song "Brother Louie." Trevor Veitch continued his music career as a session musician and producer, working with various artists. The Innocence left a mark on the pop music landscape of the 1960s with their infectious sound and memorable songs.
