Artist Bio:
The Intrigues were an American soul music group formed in Philadelphia in the 1960s. The group consisted of members Ronald Hamberlin, James Lee, Robert Edwards, and James Harris. They are best known for their hit single "In a Moment" released in 1969, which reached number 10 on the Billboard R&B chart and number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was written and produced by Gamble & Huff, who were prominent figures in the Philadelphia soul scene.
Despite their initial success with "In a Moment," The Intrigues were not able to replicate the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases. The group eventually disbanded, but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic soul music.
