The Intruders were an American soul music group formed in Philadelphia in 1960. The original members included Sam "Little Sonny" Brown, Eugene "Bird" Daughtry, Phillip "Phil" Terry, and Robert "Big Sonny" Edwards. The group was known for their harmonious vocals and catchy melodies, and they were one of the early groups to popularize the Philly Soul sound.


The Intruders achieved commercial success in the 1960s and 1970s with hits such as "Cowboys to Girls," "Together," and "I'll Always Love My Mama." Their music often featured themes of love, heartbreak, and social issues.
