Artist Bio:
The Intruders were an American soul music group formed in Philadelphia in 1960. The original members were Sam "Little Sonny" Brown, Eugene "Bird" Daughtry, Phil Terry, and Robert "Big Sonny" Edwards. The group is best known for their hits in the 1960s and 1970s, including "Cowboys to Girls" and "I'll Always Love My Mama."


The Intruders were one of the pioneering groups in the Philadelphia soul sound, blending doo-wop, soul, and R&B to create their own distinctive style. They were signed to the iconic label Gamble and Huff's Philadelphia International Records and had a string of successful albums and singles during their career. The Intruders' music continues to be celebrated for its smooth harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, solidifying their place in soul music history.
