The band was founded by the legendary soul singer and songwriter, Kenneth Stover, who also performed under the stage name Sly Scott. The Invisible Man's Band is best known for their hit single "All Night Thing," which was released in 1980 and reached number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite their initial success, The Invisible Man's Band disbanded shortly after the release of their debut album.
