The Isley Brothers are an American musical group that was formed in 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The group originally consisted of brothers O'Kelly Isley Jr., Rudolph Isley, and Ronald Isley. Over the years, the lineup has changed, with younger brothers Ernie Isley and Marvin Isley joining the group, as well as other family members and non-family members. The Isley Brothers are known for their diverse musical style, which includes elements of R&B, soul, funk, rock, and doo-wop. They are considered one of the most important and influential groups in the history of popular music, with a career spanning over six decades.


The Isley Brothers have released numerous hit songs, including "Shout," "Twist and Shout," "It's Your Thing," and "That Lady."
