Artist Bio:
The Iveys were a British rock band formed in 1963 in Swansea, Wales. The band originally consisted of Pete Ham, Ron Griffiths, Dai Jenkins, and Terry Gleason. They gained popularity in the local music scene and were eventually signed to The Beatles' label, Apple Records, in 1968.
In 1969, The Iveys released their debut album, "Maybe Tomorrow," which featured the hit single of the same name. The band later changed their name to Badfinger and went on to achieve international success with songs like "Come and Get It" and "Day After Day." Despite their success, the band faced financial and legal troubles, leading to the tragic suicides of two of their members, Pete Ham and Tom Evans. The Iveys' music continues to be celebrated for its melodic pop-rock sound and influence on the music of the 1970s.
