The J. Geils Band was an American rock band formed in 1967 in Worcester, Massachusetts. The band's original members included guitarist J. Geils, vocalist Peter Wolf, harmonica player Magic Dick, bassist Danny Klein, keyboardist Seth Justman, and drummer Stephen Bladd. They gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s with a blend of rock, R&B, and blues music.
The J. Geils Band is best known for their energetic live performances and hits such as "Centerfold," "Freeze-Frame," and "Love Stinks." They released several successful albums throughout their career, including "Bloodshot," "Ladies Invited," and "Sanctuary." The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
