The J. Geils Band achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s, with their music blending elements of rock, blues, and R&B. They were known for their high-energy live performances and Wolf's charismatic stage presence. The band's popularity peaked with the release of their album "Freeze-Frame" in 1981, which included the hit single "Centerfold." The J.
