The Jacksons are an American family music group hailing from Gary, Indiana. The group was originally formed in 1964 under the name "The Jackson Brothers" and consisted of five brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. They later changed their name to "The Jackson 5" after signing with Motown Records in 1969. The Jackson 5 achieved significant success with hits like "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There."
After leaving Motown in 1975, the group changed their name to "The Jacksons" and continued to release music throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Their most successful album as The Jacksons was "Triumph" in 1980. The group's music is known for its blend of R&B, soul, pop, and disco influences. The Jacksons have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and have left a lasting impact on the music industry with their energetic performances and catchy tunes.
