The Jacksons are an American family music group hailing from Gary, Indiana. The group was originally formed in 1964 under the name "The Jackson Brothers" before changing to "The Jackson 5" when they signed with Motown Records in 1968. The group was composed of siblings Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson, with younger brother Randy joining later. They achieved great success in the 1970s with hits like "ABC," "I Want You Back," and "I'll Be There."
After leaving Motown in 1975, the group changed their name to The Jacksons and continued to make music, with Randy replacing Jermaine. They released several albums and singles throughout the 1980s, including hits like "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)" and "Can You Feel It." The Jacksons are known for their energetic performances, intricate choreography, and contributions to the pop and R&B music genres.
