The Jacksons are an American family music group hailing from Gary, Indiana. Originally formed in 1964 under the name "The Jackson Brothers," the group consisted of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. They later changed their name to The Jackson 5 after signing with Motown Records in 1968. The group achieved widespread fame with hits like "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There," becoming one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s.
After leaving Motown in 1975, the group signed with Epic Records and changed their name to The Jacksons. They continued to release successful albums and singles, including the hits "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)" and "Can You Feel It." The Jacksons have received numerous awards and accolades for their contributions to the music industry and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Although the lineup has changed over the years, The Jacksons continue to perform and tour, entertaining audiences worldwide with their energetic live shows.
