The Jaggerz are an American rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formed in 1964. They are best known for their hit single "The Rapper," which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1970. The song was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.


The Jaggerz released their debut album, also titled "The Rapper," in 1970. The band's lineup has changed over the years, but they continue to perform and release music.
