Artist Bio:
The Kings were a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of David Diamond (vocals, bass), Mister Zero (guitar), Sonny Keyes (keyboards), and Max Styles (drums). They are best known for their hit single "This Beat Goes On/Switchin' To Glide," which was released in 1980 and became a top 40 hit in both Canada and the United States.

The Kings released three albums during the 1980s: "The Kings Are Here" (1980), "Amazon Beach" (1981), and "RSVP" (1982). Despite their initial success, the band faced challenges with their record label and eventually went on hiatus in the mid-1980s. The Kings made a comeback in the late 2000s, performing live shows and releasing new music. They continue to tour and perform, keeping the spirit of their catchy, power pop-rock music alive for both old and new fans.
