Artist Bio:
The Kingston Trio is an American folk and pop music group that was formed in 1957 in Palo Alto, California. The original lineup consisted of Dave Guard, Bob Shane, and Nick Reynolds. They were known for their tight harmonies and acoustic performances, which helped popularize the folk music revival of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The Kingston Trio achieved commercial success with hits such as "Tom Dooley," "Scotch and Soda," and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" They were one of the best-selling acts of the early 1960s and won a Grammy Award for Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording in 1959. The group went through various lineup changes over the years but continued to perform and record music until they officially retired in 2017. Throughout their career, The Kingston Trio had a significant impact on the folk music scene and inspired many other musicians to explore the genre.
