The Kingston Trio achieved commercial success with hits such as "Tom Dooley," "Scotch and Soda," and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" They were one of the best-selling acts of the early 1960s and won a Grammy Award for Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording in 1959. The group went through various lineup changes over the years but continued to perform and record music until they officially retired in 2017.
