Artist Bio:
The Kingston Trio was an American folk and pop music group that was formed in 1957 in Palo Alto, California. The original lineup consisted of Dave Guard, Bob Shane, and Nick Reynolds. They are best known for their catchy melodies, close harmonies, and a mix of traditional folk songs and contemporary tunes, which helped popularize folk music in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The Kingston Trio achieved commercial success with hit songs like "Tom Dooley," "Scotch and Soda," and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" They won a Grammy Award for Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording in 1959 and were at the forefront of the folk music revival during their time. The group's music continues to influence folk and pop musicians to this day, and they have left a lasting legacy in the music industry.
